Antibody screening test to Retrovirus (HIV virus). On an average 45 days is needed from infection to developement of initial antibody formation or symptoms. Additional tests like ELISA or more confirmatory tests like westernblot are recommended for confirmation. P24 antigen detection methods may give positive results as early as 3-4 weeks past from Infection.
